Max Nisson

Max Nisson is the Founder and CEO of Max Nisson & Associates and ProduceWiz. Max has successfully owned and operated several multi-million dollar foodservice distribution operations. Max has over 35 years of high-level experience in fresh produce / seafood / meat and foodservice distribution. Max’s expertise lies in Vendor Evaluation, Grower / Shipper relationships and Contract Negotiations with Suppliers, Distributors and Foodservice Operators.

David Nisson

David Nisson, a Managing Partner of Max Nisson & Associates, approaches Foodservice Distribution using a “bottom-up” approach. His strength lies in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients who benefit from his food procurement background. David also brings vast experience in Operations of Distribution Facilities as well as Value-Added Processing Centers. During his career in Atlanta, Georgia, David played instrumental part in setting up logistics with distribution during 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, Georgia. Presently, David manages all day-to-day operations that transpire between Suppliers, Consolidator, Distributors and Food Service Operators or “the end user”. David plays a vital role in food safety reviews.

Mark Pratte

Mark Pratte, also a Managing Partner, joined Max Nisson & Associates in April 2008. Prior to becoming a partner with Max Nisson & Associates, Mark spent over 25 years in Culinary Operations. Of those 25 years, 17 were with The Cheesecake Factory, Incorporated where Mark was the Executive Vice President Kitchen Operations. There, Mark’s responsibilities included day-to-day issues at the restaurant level as well as Cost Control, Food and Labor costs, Purchasing & Contract Oversight and Management of Dry Goods, Proteins, Seafood, Produce, Dairy, etc. Mark was an integral part of Kitchen Design for multiple restaurant concepts (including industrial appliance and equipment selection). In addition, Mark oversaw Nationwide Restaurant Openings of which he personally opened over 120 restaurants with The Cheesecake Factory, Incorporated.

Sandy Shawver

Sandy Shawver is a Director of Finance for Max Nisson & Associates. Sandy’s expertise lies in Business Finance. Prior to joining Max Nisson & Associates in 2006, Sandy spent over a decade in Corporate Finance. She manages the entire pricing network which includes: contract pricing, online price entry system, all financial and corporate reporting and analysis, contract analysis as well as oversees our state of the art online purchasing program designed specifically for the end user. Additionally, Sandy manages the audit division through conducting audits intended to ensure pricing and product compliance. Sandy also manages the Corporate Rebates program for the end-user clients and applicable client reporting.
